Helping people with purpose make meaningful progress.

Hi, I’m Ashley.

I’m a strategist, operator, coach, and project leader who helps people turn meaningful ideas into reality.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked alongside nonprofit leaders, boards, staff teams, business owners, and individual professionals to solve complex challenges, develop practical plans, and move important work forward. My strength is connecting the big picture to the details required to make it happen, while keeping people at the center throughout the process.

I help facilitate the early conversations that shape a vision, translate that vision into an actionable project plan, develop the materials and systems needed to support it, and work alongside the people responsible for implementation.

My experience spans strategic planning, organizational operations, people and performance systems, leadership development, event planning, communications, coaching, and complex project execution.

Alongside my consulting work, I serve as the Executive Director of FreeRent.org, where I lead organizational strategy, programming, partnerships, and operations that advance housing stability for families in need.

Previously, I served in Chief People Officer and Chief Operations Officer roles for a fast-growing nonprofit, esp. In those positions, I implemented organization-wide operating systems, developed standard operating procedures across departments, and established performance and compliance frameworks that supported sustainable growth and continuous improvement.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Georgia. I have continued to invest in my professional development through the EOS Integrator Masterclass and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation.

Originally from Orlando, Florida, I now live in Atlanta, Georgia, with my husband, Alan, and our four rescue pets: Riley, Dood, Binx, and Bandit. Outside of work, I enjoy music and concerts, yoga, the outdoors, community festivals, and spending time with friends and family.

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, organized, and action-oriented. I ask the questions that create clarity, build practical plans people can follow, and help keep important work moving forward, from vision through implementation.

Meaningful ideas deserve a clear path forward.

You may have a strong vision for what you want to create, improve, or accomplish… but turning that vision into reality requires time, structure, planning, and consistent follow-through.

People for Purpose works alongside nonprofit leaders and business owners to organize ideas, clarify priorities, develop practical plans, and move important work forward.

We can support the entire process: shaping the original concept, building the project plan, engaging the right people, developing the necessary materials, and helping guide the work through implementation.

From there, I help you:

  • Clarify the vision and desired outcome

  • Identify priorities, milestones, and responsibilities

  • Build a realistic project or implementation plan

  • Coordinate the people involved

  • Develop presentations, proposals, scripts, programs, and supporting materials

  • Create systems that promote accountability and follow-through

  • Navigate challenges and adjust the plan as the work progresses

The result is more than a recommendation. It is a clear path forward and practical support to help you make progress.

Our work begins by understanding what you are trying to accomplish and why it matters.

Supporting people who are building something meaningful.
