I’m passionate about helping nonprofits support their people and improve their purpose
Hi, I’m Ashley.
As a people-driven leader with over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, I’ve dedicated my career to building strong teams, sustainable systems, and mission-driven impact. I currently serve as the Executive Director of FreeRent.org, where I’m leading the organization from the ground up—developing strategy, programming, and partnerships that advance housing stability for families in need.
Previously, I held leadership roles as Chief People Officer and Chief Operations Officer for a fast-growing nonprofit, where I implemented organization-wide operating systems, created SOPs across departments, and established performance and compliance frameworks that fueled growth and continuous improvement.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Georgia. I’ve continued to invest in professional development through the EOS Integrator Masterclass and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation.
A native of Orlando, Florida, I now live in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband, Alan, and our three beloved rescue pets—Riley, Dood, and Binx. Outside of work, I find joy in music and concerts, yoga, the outdoors, community festivals, and time with friends and family.
